often should a Risk Management Review be done? |
|
Following
a significant incident, injury, or fatality.

a significant incident trend is being observed in your Program.

considering the implementation of new program activities in
your organization. |

Ideally, Programs should be reviewed by an external or peer
review team on a yearly or bi-yearly basis. Each review is
not necessarily a comprehensive review of the program as a
whole, but may focus on specific facets of a program dictated
by recent organizational changes, incidents, or other factors.

What
process does Adventure Risk Management use to review my Program?
|
|
A
Risk Management Review can entail all aspects of your program,
or focus on specific elements.
|
|
A
complete Risk Management Review can be structured as follows:
|
|
(1)
Assessment: Discussion between your program managers and
ARM Consultants designed to articulate your programs
current needs, challenges, and successes to determine the most
logical,
effective Review Process. The assessment may be conducted at
your site, or remotely. |
|
(2)
Risk Management Review: An on-site review of the elements
specified in the Assessment phase. Your program is scrutuinized
at many levels to ascertain your current risk management practices
and effectiveness. |
|
(3)
Recommendations: Your Review Team meets with you to discuss
observations and provide specific, practical solutions for change. |
|
(4)
Follow-up: A written summary that is generated detailing
the Review and Recommendations made by the Review Team, along
with pertinent supporting resources. |
|
|
What
are the costs associated with Consultation or Reviews?
|
Consultation
costs vary with the unique needs of your program, but consist
of a daily rate per Consultant or Reviewer. Our rates are
competitive with those of similar risk management consultation
services contact us for a quote. As you feel it
is necessary, additional Consultants or Reviewers can be
added
for a lower daily rate. All associated expenses are billed
to the client, and may consist of travel, meals, and lodging.

What
type of travel, meals, and lodging are required?
|
Every
attempt is made to minimize the logistical expenses, and whenever
possible, these expenses will be confirmed by you prior to
incurring the expense. Travel will consist of the least expensive,
while still expedient method possible. Meals are expensed
at the rate of $30 per person per day. Lodging does not need
to be extravagant, but should consist of a private location
where Adventure Risk Management Consultants can work and rest
without distraction.
